Participation in MyGov Awareness Quiz on the International Day of Deaf-Blindness
Dear Students, Parents and Teachers,
In accordance with CBSE Circular No. Acad-50/2026 dated 24 July 2026, the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, has launched an Awareness Quiz on the International Day of Deaf-Blindness through the MyGov platform.
The initiative aims to:
- Increase awareness and understanding of deaf-blindness.
- Promote inclusive education and accessible communication.
- Develop sensitivity towards the needs and rights of persons with disabilities.
- Encourage an inclusive, respectful and supportive society.
Students, teachers, parents and other members of the school community are encouraged to participate in the following activities:
1. MyGov Awareness Quiz
2. Five-Day Online Awareness Course
A five-day online awareness course titled “Understanding Deaf-Blindness”, developed by CIET-NCERT in collaboration with Sense International India, is also available for students, teachers, school leaders, parents, caregivers and other stakeholders.
All students, teachers and parents are requested to make meaningful use of these learning resources and participate at the earliest. Class teachers are requested to share this circular through the respective class communication groups and encourage maximum participation.
