Introduction of the New House System and Schedule for the School Student Council Elections
Dear Students, Parents and Staff Members,
Ballia Jaipuria School is pleased to announce the formal introduction of its New House System and the commencement of the School Student Council Elections for the Academic Session 2026–27.
The House System has been established to provide students with structured opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, discipline, responsibility, creativity and a strong sense of belonging to the School community.

Each student will become a member of one of the four Houses and will participate in academic, literary, cultural, sporting, community-service and leadership activities through the House System.
School Student Council Elections 2026–27
The School Student Council will provide students with an opportunity to participate responsibly in school life, represent the student body and contribute to the organisation of House and School activities.
The election process will be conducted in a fair, disciplined and transparent manner under the supervision of the School Election Committee.

Nomination Process
Students wishing to contest the election must submit the prescribed nomination form between 3 August and 6 August 2026.
A nomination will be considered valid only when:
- The form is completed in all respects.
- The candidate meets the eligibility requirements prescribed by the School.
- The nomination is endorsed by the concerned Class Teacher or House Coordinator.
- The form is submitted within the stipulated period.
- The candidate agrees to follow the School Election Code of Conduct.
Late or incomplete nominations will not be accepted.
Eligibility of Candidates
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Satisfactory academic performance
- Responsible and disciplined conduct
- Respectful behaviour towards students and staff
- Willingness to serve the School community
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Confidence, integrity and leadership potential
The School reserves the right to reject or withdraw a candidature in case of indiscipline, incorrect information or violation of the Election Code of Conduct.
Election Campaign Guidelines
Candidates may communicate their vision and proposed initiatives during the authorised campaign period.
All candidates must ensure that:
- Campaigning remains positive, respectful and issue-based.
- No candidate makes personal remarks against another student.
- No gifts, food items, money or inducements are distributed.
- Posters or campaign material are displayed only at approved locations.
- School property is not damaged or defaced.
- Campaigning does not disturb classes or regular school activities.
- Social media is not misused for campaigning, criticism or misinformation.
Any violation may result in cancellation of candidature.
Election and Voting
The election will be held on 12 August 2026 through the procedure approved by the School Election Committee.
Students must:
- Vote independently and responsibly.
- Maintain secrecy of the ballot.
- Follow the instructions of election officials.
- Avoid influencing or pressuring other voters.
- Accept the election outcome with dignity and sportsmanship.
Declaration of Results
The official results will be declared on 13 August 2026 after verification and approval by the School Election Committee.
The decision of the School Election Committee and Management shall be final.
Investiture Ceremony
The elected members of the School Student Council and House Leadership Teams will formally assume office during the Investiture Ceremony on 15 August 2026.
The ceremony will include:
- Presentation of badges and responsibilities
- Administration of the Student Council Oath
- Formal introduction of House leaders
- Commitment to discipline, service and institutional values
The newly elected Council will serve as a link between students and the School administration and will assist in the organisation of academic, cultural, sporting and community initiatives.
Leadership as Service
Holding a Council position is not merely a matter of prestige. It is a responsibility to:
- Lead through personal example
- Represent students fairly
- Protect the dignity of the School
- Support younger students
- Encourage participation and teamwork
- Promote discipline and inclusiveness
- Serve the School community with sincerity
